Let's Beat Bowel Cancer have teamed up with Bowel Cancer Australia for FOBruary to raise awareness of bowel cancer and encourage more Australians to test for the disease.

FOBruary calls on all Australians aged 50 and over to have a FOB Test (faecal occult blood test) during the month of February to screen for bowel cancer – Australia’s second biggest cancer killer.

Bowel cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable if detected early.

With a FOB Test you dip it in the loo, drop it in the post and you’re done. It’s that simple.

If you’re 50 and over, you need to screen every 1 to 2 years
